Botswana & Zimbabwe

I was fortunate to visit these beautiful countries in 2003. It was a life changing experience to experience a wide variety of animals and birds in their native habitat.

We must do more to save these creatures from extinction. A good start would be to support ongoing efforts to Save African Elephants.

These images were captured using a 35mm film camera and a pocket digital camera that had a built-in 3x optical zoom and a 10x digital zoom. At the time digital cameras were fairly low-resolution compared to today's technology. How I wish now I had brought something a little more robust!

I'd like to return again someday and assist with efforts to protect the wildlife; and with far better digital equipment and longer lenses to document the experience!
